About us
Accident management for drivers, done in the open.
Courtesy Cars UK delivers replacement cars after non-fault accidents in London and deals with the at-fault insurer for you. Nothing to pay upfront. Every step visible in your portal.
- £0 upfront

What we do
One job: get you back on the road, and keep you there.
After an accident that was not your fault you have two routes. Claim on your own policy and pay your excess, or claim from the driver who hit you. We run the second route.
We hire you a replacement car on credit, deliver it, and recover the hire and your other losses from the at-fault insurer. You use the car while yours is repaired, or until a total loss is settled.
We are a small company based in Isleworth. We answer the phone ourselves. We do not run a call centre and we do not sell your claim on.
Written terms before you sign
You read the hire agreement and how we are paid before anything starts. Plain English. Questions answered first.
A car within 2 hours
Inside London we deliver a like-for-like replacement within 2 hours of your claim being accepted. PCO-plated if you drive PCO.
Every step in your portal
Letters, calls, repair updates and what has been agreed. You see it the day it happens, not when you chase.
Not on your policy
We claim from the at-fault driver's insurer. Your excess stays in your pocket and your no-claims bonus is not touched.
What you can hold us to
Numbers we put in writing
Only facts we can stand behind. No counts, no ratings, no claims about outcomes.

Honest scope
What we do, and what we don't
Knowing where our job stops is as useful as knowing where it starts.
We do
- Deliver a replacement car and handle the hire
- Notify and deal with the at-fault insurer
- Arrange recovery, storage and repair updates
- Itemise your losses: hire, recovery, storage, loss of earnings
- Keep everything visible in your portal
We don't
- Advise on, value or pursue injury claims
- Act as solicitors or give legal advice
- Promise how a claim will end
- Charge you upfront for a non-fault claim
If anyone was hurt, we point you to a specialist solicitor. We are not paid for that. Read how injury is handled.
Beyond accident management, we deal in vehicles. If yours is written off, unwanted or end-of-life, there are two ways we can buy it — and we will always take whichever is worth more to you.
Route 1
Sell to us as salvage
Damaged, uneconomical-to-repair or end-of-life vehicles. We quote a salvage price, collect the car from you and settle quickly.
Best when the car cannot be repaired economically.
- Often pays more
Route 2
A direct offer, above salvage
Where a vehicle is repairable and re-homable, we may offer you above salvage value directly. You take the better price; we take on the repair and resale.
Best when the car has life left in it.
Once you have accepted an offer
- Quote
- Offer accepted
- We collect
- You are paid
- We prepare
- We sell on
Prepared salvage-recovered and part-exchanged vehicles are resold in West London — every car is mechanically checked before it is listed.
Tell us the reg and condition. We come back with a number, not a callback queue.
Why we exist
Four things that go wrong after a non-fault accident
Most drivers only find these out once it is too late to do anything about them. Our whole service is built around each one.
The problem
Your excess disappears first
What we do instead
Claiming on your own policy means paying your excess before anything happens, then chasing to get it back. We claim from the at-fault insurer instead, so there is no excess to pay.
The problem
Nobody calls you back
What we do instead
Insurer claim lines are queues. You get one named handler here, a direct number, and a portal that shows every action the day it happens.
The problem
Your premium goes up anyway
What we do instead
A claim on your own policy can affect your no-claims bonus and your renewal even when you were not at fault. A claim against the other driver's insurer is not made on your policy.
The problem
The courtesy car is not like yours
What we do instead
A small courtesy car does not work for a PCO driver or a family. We match make, class and plate status so you can keep working and keep your life running.
Want the side-by-side? Insurer route vs our route, and how we are paid.
How we work
Standards we hold ourselves to
These are commitments about how we behave, not predictions about how a claim will end. Nobody can honestly promise that.
Terms before signature, every time
You see the hire agreement, the credit-hire explanation and the daily rate before you sign. We answer questions first. Nothing is signed on a doorstep.
One named handler
The person who takes your claim stays on it. Their direct line is in your portal. If they are off, the cover handler is named there too.
Evidence you can rely on
Every photo, statement and document is time-stamped and hashed on upload so it can be shown to be unaltered. Your account of the accident is locked once given.
Plain English letters
Everything we send an insurer is written so you can read it too. Copies go in your portal the moment they are sent.
Nothing hidden from you
Rates, what has been claimed, what the insurer has said and what happens next. If a charge could ever become yours, it is explained before it can.
A real complaints route
A written procedure, an acknowledgement within two working days and a final response within eight weeks. If you are still unhappy, we tell you where to go next.
Who we work with
Built for people who cannot be off the road
